The painter Albert Cuyp lived in Amsterdam on the 17th century. He is perpetuated in a street and market with his name. Albert Cuyp market was established in 1905 and is known as the colorful and noisiest in the city.
Everything is sold in the market; fruits and vegetables, meat, fish and seafood side by side with cloth, house ware, etc...
Lot of tourists visit the market and enjoy, in addition to the stalls, from the ethnic restaurants and the bars around the market.
