Animac the International Animation Film Festival of Catalonia (Mostra Internacional de Cinema d'Animacio de Catalunya) is held, once a year, in Lleida, Catalonia in north Spain. This noncompetitive festival strted in 1996.
The festival is a cinema show intended for artists who create movie animation and for the interested public.

Spain's powerful world empire of the 16th and 17th centuries ultimately yielded command of the seas to England.
