Once a year, the beautiful city Bruges, holds an international music festival that hosts artists and quality compositions from many countries. Various musical events of jazz, rock, reggae, rap, etc… take place. All this summer festival’s events are held in the open air of Minnewater park.

Belgium became independent from the Netherlands in 1830; it was occupied by Germany during World Wars I and II.
