Calgary Folk Music Festival takes place since 1979. It brings marvelous music shows on seven stages with the participation of more than sixty international leading artists. The festival which is held on open air in Prince’s Island Park attracts thousands of visitors every year.

Due to the numerous visitors during the festival days and the high demand for accommodations it is recommended to check hotel rates and book rooms well in advance. In addition to the musical events, a market of handmade arts by creators from all over the world is held.
