On the days that the Chiang Mai flower festival takes place, the downtown streets are colored by the flowers that decorate every corner. The festival is celebrated, every year, for three days in start February. On this time, the tropical flowers that grow in the area, reach its climax bloom. On the three marvelous days of the festival, various events are held.

Events like; flower exhibitions, flower contests, colorful parade which is dedicated to flowers, beauty contests for choosing Miss Flower Bloom and Miss International Flower Bloom, food fair, entertainment and music shows, etc…
