The first Grand Prix in USA took place in 1967. Since then, United States keeps the tradition and held the prestigious ''Formula 1 United States Grand Prix'', yearly, in Indiana. It is held in the Motor Speedway, the race's circuit of Indianapolis.
This is one of the races that take place in 17 places: Australia, Malaysia, Baharain, Spain, Monaco, Canada, USA, France, Britain, Europe, Hungary, Turkey, Italy, Belgium, Japan, China and Brazil.
Drivers from all over the world participate in the Indianapolis' race, as well as in all the other races. An enthusiastic audience of locals and tourists fill the city and wait to watch the famous race in the Motor Speedway's race circuit.
The circuit is known as the most ancient in the world. It was built in 1908 as a flat surface made of 9 million bricks. Its nickname was ''The Brickyard''. Later on it was rebuilt and turned to be the qualitative and longest in the world.
During the race, the city hotels are fully booked so it is recommended to make a room reservation in advance.
World's celebrities that arrive with private planes and luxury cars can be seen among the spectators.
This is a genuine fiesta to motorist sport lovers.
