Once a year, Rome holds a unique impressive parade, with the participation of the POP. The parade which takes place on Good Friday (the Friday before Easter), attracts thousands of people from all over the world. The traditional procession is accompanied by thousands of believers who light its way with torches.

The parade stops 14 times on its way, to present the crucified march of Jesus from his death sentence to his burial. The POP, carrying a wooden cross, holds a ceremony of short pray in every stop. The parade starts its way from the Coliseum to Palatine hill, the central hill of the Seven Hills of Rome.

The procession show, the thousands of people with torches and the ceremonies in all the 14 stops, leave the visitor with strong impression and imposing visual experience.
