The Oceanografico of the City of the Arts and Sciences of Valencia holds once a year, in mid May an International Underwater Image Festival. This is a unique festival that its main course is to raise the awareness of the public to the conservation of the nature and the lives in the underwater environment. In the five days event, photograph shots and video from the depths of the ocean are presented. In addition, professional discussions and workshops with worldwide specialists are held. This is a marvelous event for professionals as well as for the public.
