The long shopping night in the capital of Germany offers a special event to all Berliners and Berlin-visitors. The event takes place, for more than decade, in October in the west side of the city. This special night of shopping takes place twice a year in the night of the changing clocks from summertime to wintertime and vice versa. On these special events more than 350 shops, department stores, restaurants, bars and cinemas are opened till midnight. More than 600,000 consumers attend the long shopping night in the west side of the city. This is the reason why this event has become the most successful ''shopping party'' in Germany.
