The Oil-press in kibbutz Gshur suggests a tour that introduces the visitor to the exciting world of olive oil. The visit is aimed to the whole family.
It combines watching the process of producing the oil, watching a film “The story of the oil in Gshur land” and of course tasting different varieties of olive oils that are produced on spot and be familiar with the aroma and use of the various species.
The seasonal activity fit for adults and children who like nature and agriculture. In the tour the visitors can see the modernistic and revolutionary process of producing quality olive oil, from the plant to the bottle.
The process starts from the place of the plantations until the olive-harvest, the producing of the oil and keeping it in special stainless steel tanks.
