Rock Werchter festival is held, every year, in a little town Werchter which is located 40 km north east of Brussels. The old festival that started in 1974 is known as one of the biggest festivals of Europe with the participation of leading European bands.
The festival is held on the first weekend of the summer vacation in Belgium, in end June – start July. During the four days of festival it hosts dozens of thousands of young celebrators from Belgium and near by countries.
