Rotterdam Summer Carnival is held for over two decads. The carnival hosts, every year, about million visitors! The carnival’s events is inspired by Barzil and Bolivia carnivals.
Due to the numerous visitors during the carnival days and the high demand for accommodations it is recommended to check hotel rates and book rooms well in advance.
The South America carnivals’ spirit brought, among the other, the queen’s carnival contest and the colorful street parade. The latin music that is heard, is played by 25 bands who march in the noisy parade.
At night, the visitors can enjoy live music performences played on two stages in the city center.
