Bad Gastein is a spa town which is located in Gastein valley in south west Austria, about 90 km from Salzburg. The town holds, once a year, a jazz festival that is actually a music marathon that last for ten days.
During the festival’s days, more than twenty concerts are played. The visitor can combine the musical experience with winter sport activity and a bath in the thermal water pools.
On the evening, the musical fiesta begins, and all the visitors have to do is decide which concert they will attend. The concerts are played in various halls and clubs with the participation of world famous artists (check the program on the festival’s website).
The marvelous combination of ski and jazz promise the guests an unforgettable winter experience.
