The Summer Festivities of Early Music is held in Prague since 2000. The festival's events: singing, music and dance are performed in ancient style as it was in the 16th - 17th centuries in Prague and center Bohemia.
The various shows that are performed in the Baroque theater style are compatible with the musical instruments, the music, rhetoric, gestures, makeup, cloths and choreographic of the ancient period.
The shows take place in churches, monasteries and historic buildings which creates a marvelous decoration for this unique festival.
