The Annual Festivity of Saint Bartholomew (Sant Bartomeu).

The Town´s Annual Festivity of Saint Bartholomew is celebrated the 23rd and 24th of August. During these days streets turn into a real burst of happiness, with very emotional moments and great popular participation; it is the most important cultural and sentimental expression of the village. The Festivity of Saint Bartholomew has deserved official recognition as a Festivity of National Interest because of the folkloric richness of its typical dances.

Spain's powerful world empire of the 16th and 17th centuries ultimately yielded command of the seas to England.
