Like every food market in Europe the Valencia's Central Market (Mercado Central) has unique local character. In addition to the standard shopping, the Mercado Central allows the visitor to enjoy the smells and tastes of various local food; meat, wines and vegetables. This is a huge market that contains more than thousands stands in a modern structure. It has a spectacular architectural design that combines stone, metal and glass. The two floors market promises an aesthetic and culinary experience to market's lovers. The Mercado Central which is located in Plaza del Mercado is open from Monday to Saturday between 7:00 and 14:00.
