Vancouver Folk Music Festival – VanFolkFest is known as one of the oldest and most quality festivals of its kind. The festival started in 1978 and since it is held, every year, on the third weekend of July. The events take place in open air on eight stages in Jericho Beach Park in West Vancouver.

More than 30,000 visitors, locals and tourists reach the place. Due to the numerous visitors during the festival days and the high demand for tickets and accommodations it is recommended to check hotel rates and book rooms well in advance.

Known artists play in the festival. In addition to folk music the visitors can enjoy concerts of hip hop, rap, world music, ethnic music, etc…
