The West Indian American community celebrates, yearly, its’ national tradition and culture on the first Monday of September. On that day many folklore and music shows that are significant to the Caribbean’s take place. The most important event of the day is a colorful parade that is known as one of the biggest of New York City. The parade goes through the main roads of Brooklyn in front of thousands spectators. No doubt that this is a special and joyful event of the summer’s end in New York.
