Tunarama began in 1962 as a free community entertainment market celebrating Port Lincoln’s status as the “Seafood Capital of Australia,” and has grown over more than six decades into the region’s signature festival, headlined by the famous Tuna Toss, in which competitors hurl a 10-kilogram rubber tuna for distance.
