African-American Day Parade
The Afro-American Day Parade that takes place every year started for the first time in 1969. The beautiful parade is held in Harlem, New York, because of the great presence of black communities as it aims to achieve their appropriate representation in the community.
The parade was established as a non-profit organization that aims to achieve social unity, integrity and excellence among the community. It presents the community achievements, talents with a great celebration of its the heritage.
Over the years, the parade has become a national parade representing the broadest cross-section of African American organizations in the United States.
