Truffles are known as a qualitative ingredient in finest quality kitchens. The especially rare and expensive mushrooms cost could reach up to amounts of one hundred dollars per kilogram!

White truffle fair is held in the city of Alba, which is located in northwest Italy, for more than – 80 years. The fair is held every Saturday and Sunday from the first half of October until the second half of November. Italy background and overview
Italy became a nation-state in 1861 when the regional states of the peninsula, along with Sardinia and Sicily, were united under King Victor EMMANUEL II. An era of parliamentary government came to a close in the early 1920s when Benito MUSSOLINI established a Fascist dictatorship.
