Alcalá de Henares Film Festival – (ALCINE) is one of the oldest short film festivals in Europe. The festival started in 1983 and since it launches glorious careers of Spanish directors as Alejandro Amenábar, Isabel Coixet and Fernando León de Aranoa.

In spit of its being defined as festival for short film, lately it also presents feature films.
