Amsterdam Canal Festival (Grachtenfestival) 2025

For over ten years, once a year, in mid August, the Amsterdam Canal Festival (Grachtenfestival) takes place. This is a classic music’s festival. The concerts are played in unique architectonic sites with historic and culture value. The best players attend different classic compositions.

A special place is given to young and qualified artists. The festival events are designated to music lovers of all ages. In addition to concerts for adults a children festival (Kindergrachtenfestival) is held as well.

The festival varies and expands its events, there for additional venues are added every year. The concerts are with symbolic entrance fee or free of charge.

This is a marvelous musical sequence of events for the summer’s days.

Netherlands background and overview
