Arminius Markthalle Berlin
Arminius Markthalle Berlin is an indoor food market mostly for the local residents. It does not have the colorful inviting of the open markets and the popular characteristic of these markets. The stands are beautiful designed and arranged, but the uniqueness of the market is its building.
The market is located in a unique architectonic structure with arcs, a combination of on floor church building with Gothic windows. The market’s construction that was built in 1891 was severely damaged during World War II and was restored in 1950. Between the years 1990 to 1996 the building beautiful front was restored and the hall was refurbished in modern design.
