Budapest International Wine Festival is held for five days in September – October (different dates). Since it started in 1991 it entertains thousands of visitors. Nowadays, the festival turns to be one of the professional wine events in central Europe.

Among the festival events, professional meetings are held as well as open meeting between the public and the wine makers where the visitors can taste wine and get explanations on traditional wine making.

The visitors can enjoy music shows and various kinds of food that combined with wine, such as: varied cheese, fishes, barbecues, cooked food, etc…
