Burning Man
Burning Man is an extraordinary event in its location, contents and the large amount of its participants which is rising every year to more than fifty thousand celebrators.Burning Man takes place in Nevada in Black Rock Desert. The city “Black Rock City” is built every year especially for this unique festival. The “city” that is built in a shape of amphitheater made from tents and caravans, is located 3 hours drive north to Reno, NV
Reaching the place: there is a shuttle bus from Reno and San Francisco , or by private cars, RV or hitchhiking. During the festival’s days, the statue of a man made of wood is seen from every point in the “city”.
The climax of the festival is the burn of this statue on Saturday, two days before the end of the festival. The participants create unique art presentations, participate in various common activities as multiplayer meditations create “neighborhoods ” from tents and caravans in the social communal concept, create non realistic social situations, common showers, etc…
