Carnival Goralski (The Mountain Carnival)

Carnival Góralski is called, also, by the name “The Mountain Carnival”. This is a 5 days winter carnival based on traditional Polish folklore.

The carnival is held, every year, on mid February (different dates) on the sky site of Bukuwina Tatrzańska which is located in south Poland.

Musical shows, marksmanship contests and toboggans races takes place during the carnival’s dates.

  • There is a mistake in the town’s name – it should be Bukowina Tatrzańska. Also the map shows a different place called Bukowno – this is not the same as Bukowina!
