The city of Brunico / Bruneck is the greatest city on Puster Valley in South Tirol province.

During Advent, Brunico turns the Christmas Market space between the city walls and the old city gates to a place of color, sound and wonderful smells.

The combination between the winter sport in the morning and the beautiful market from the afternoon until evening promise lot of fun and marvelous vacation.

Italy background and overview
Italy became a nation-state in 1861 when the regional states of the peninsula, along with Sardinia and Sicily, were united under King Victor EMMANUEL II. An era of parliamentary government came to a close in the early 1920s when Benito MUSSOLINI established a Fascist dictatorship.
