Every year, from the second half of November until the first week of December, Kleve which is located in west Germany near the border of Netherlands, holds a beautiful Christmas market.
In more than 40 wooden huts sold various handcrafts, presents and presents for the holiday side by side with hotdogs, hot chestnuts, candied almonds and apples, hot wine, Gluhwein and punch that warm the heart and soul of the visitors in the cold winter nights, according to German tradition.
On the Christmas Market days accommodations can be fully booked, hence it is recommended to make a room’s reservations in advance in order to find a room in a reasonable price.
The children can enjoy colored merry-go-round, a little zoo and Santa Claus who bless them.
Returning for the second time !
This is a very well organized and run market. One of my very favorite German Markets. Excellent stalls warm and friendly stall holders good parking facilities. An excellent concert program. Well worth a visit. I am sure there will be a third visit. Go and enjoy.
