The Christmas market in the old town of Stockholm is held, every year, from the second half of November till Christmas.
The colorful market which is located in the center of the old town started in 1523 and is looked upon as the oldest Christmas market in Europe.

About forty colored booths sell decorations, presents, holiday food, hot wine, etc… In addition, various shows about the coming holiday take place.
