Among the events and activities that take place in Paris before Christmas, it is worthwhile to visit Place Saint Sulpice in the Latine quarter (Quartier latin). In the square in front Saint Sulpice church which was built on 1745, a Santa Claus village (Village de Noel) is established every year.
The visitors can enjoy street performances with actors, dancers and musicians side by side with marvelous Christmas market with souvenirs, artistic handmade crafts, presents for the holiday, etc…
Many guests fill the coffee houses around the place. The colorful lights and the mass visitors create a festive atmosphere.
