The half-timbered houses in the old quarter of Celle (located in North West Germany, 20 minutes from Hanover), are decorated with a unique lights during Advent.
The advent days are the period of the four Sundays before Christmas when the Christian world indicates the event of Jesus revelation. The glowing lights of the ancient houses create a marvelous decoration for the Christmas Market in the city.
On the Christmas Market days accommodations can be fully booked, hence it is recommended to make a room’s reservations in advance in order to find a room in a reasonable price.
All these create the festive atmosphere of the days prior to Christmas. This is a genuine fiesta for the whole family.
