Christmas market in Goslar which is located 100 km south east to Hanover is held, every year, from the second half of November until end December.
The market is located on the Marktplatz in the center of the ancient quarter. In tens of wooden huts and stalls, sold various handcrafts, presents and presents for the holiday side by side with hotdogs, hot chestnuts, candied almonds and apples, hot wine, Glühwein and punch that warm the heart and soul of the visitors in the cold winter nights.
On the Christmas Market days accommodations can be fully booked, hence it is recommended to make a room’s reservations in advance in order to find a room in a reasonable price.
Christmas Forest with 36 decorated trees is the unique attraction in this market. A special experience is promised to those who take a ride in the old steam train which climbs up the snowy Harz Mountains. All of these create a festive atmosphere, to the whole family, on the days prior the coming holiday.
