Ulm’s Cathedral (Ulmer Münster) which is known as ecclesiastical has the tallest turret in the world. The city hosts, yearly, in the Cathedral square its Christmas Market. It takes place from end November until two days before the Holiday.
Due to the numerous visitors during the Christmas Market days and the high demand for accommodations it is recommended to check hotel rates and book rooms & tickets well in advance.
The market contains more than hundred stands selling presents, souvenirs and various art stuff related to the Holiday customs. The visitor can also find lot of stands that sell hot wine (Gluhwein), baked apples, hotdogs, hot chestnuts etc…
To complete the atmosphere, the Cathedral invites the wide public to enter and listen, every day on 17:00, to concerts of holiday songs performed by various choruses.
