The Christmas market on Maria Theresa Square

The Christmas market on Maria Theresa Square (Maria-Theresien-Platz) which is located between the Art Museum and the Nature and History Museum is named by Vienna residents – Christmas Village (Weihnachtsdorf).

In about sixty colorful wooden huts the visitors can find souvenirs, decorations and presents for the holiday, hot wine (Glühwein), roasted chestnuts, various kinds of meat, hot dogs, etc…

Every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
On December 24th from 11 a.m. to 3 p,.
On December 25th and 26th from 11 a.m. to 8pm
