Curacao, the beautiful island nation that is located in the southern part of the Caribbean Sea near the coast of Venezuela holds every year a colorful carnival.
The local population of Curacao was created from diverse populations and cultures who arrived from a more than fifty countries. So Curacao Carnival events are a huge celebration of culture and national heritage of its citizens.
Guests of the carnival that is considered to be the largest cultural events of Curacao, can enjoy a variety of events including a large beauty contests, parties, private and public, music festivals with an emphasis on Tomba (local music of the islands) calypso and other styles.
