Dana Point is a beautiful town located south to Los Angeles on the way to San Diego. The town hosts every year, for more than 40 years, large nature lover crowd who arrive to the city in order to watch thousands of gray whales.

The events that are held on two weekends attract lot of visitors. Due to the numerous guests that arrive to Dana Point during the festival days and the high demand for accommodations it is recommended to check hotel rates and book rooms well in advance.

Groups of grey whales start its migration season on November and end it on start March at Dana Point shores. The amount of thousands of giant mammals attracts the visitors who cannot cease watching the astonishing phenomenon.

The whales can be seen from high places or from boats that depart from the harbor to close-up view.

In addition, colored parade and diverse culture and entertainments events for the whole family take place on spot.
