Dubrovnik Summer Festival is mostly classic music, dance, theater and folklore festival. Thousands of people, local and tourists pour into town and the demand for accommodation is higher than usual, therefore it is advisable to check hotel prices and make reservations ahead of time.
The festival is held, every year, from mid July until the third week of August. It is known as one of the greatest culture events of Croatia.
The old festival started fifty years ago, and since its events take place in closed halls as well as in open air places.
