The Edinburgh International Festival is held yearly in late summer for over three weeks. In major theaters, concert halls and also number of small venues, it presents a rich program of classical music, theatre, opera and dancing.
In addition to the three weeks festival, it has also an ongoing program of education aimed at all ages from primary school pupils to adults. The Festival began in 1947 and since then some more festivals are held in August and early September, all together are often called the Edinburgh Festival.
It is recommended to make a room’s reservation in advance in order to find a room in a reasonable price.
