Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest is the beer festival of the twin cities Kitchener and Waterloo in south Ontario region. The fiestas of the festival last nine days, every year.
The population of the area has Germen roots and some of them even speak Germen, so it is obvious that the festival preserves the Germen tradition of the original Oktoberfest in Munich.
In addition to drinking beer, various culture events and shows are held. The festival’s events reach its climax on Thanksgiving Day when a colorful parade takes place.
