Every year, in end April – mid May (different dates), Kfar Saba holds a three days brass bands’ festival.
The festival stared on 1989 and since then, youth orchestras from all over the country participate diverse of events which are held in halls as well as on open space.
During the three days of the festivals, various places in the city center turn into musical stages where youth bands in various compositions play for the joy of the audience.
The festival reachs its climax on the third day’s evening with a concert on Kenion Arim square.
Thousands of audience fill the square in order to listen to several bands that unite into one giant band with hundred of musicians!
The festival ends with the 1812 Overture by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky while instead of the climactic volley of cannon fire the audience enjoy volley of fascinating fireworks.
