The Festival of music in France which take place, every year in June, turns the cities into marvelous music centers that provide great joy to all music lovers, from classic music to reggae, jazz, pop, etc…

The performers, compositions and great shows are held in Paris. The musical events are held in halls, bars, parks, gardens and even in some big Metro stations.

The significant shows in open air take place in Place de la Bastille, in Hotel des Invalides, in Place de la Republic and in Parc de la Villette.

Although ultimately a victor in World Wars I and II, France suffered extensive losses in its empire, wealth, manpower, and rank as a dominant nation-state. Nevertheless, France today is one of the most modern countries in the world and is a leader among European nations. Since 1958, it has constructed a presidential democracy resistant to the instabilities experienced in earlier parliamentary democracies.
