Festival of the Winds is Australia’s largest and most famous kite festival, held annually on the second Sunday of September at world-renowned Bondi Beach in Sydney. Celebrating the arrival of spring since 1978, this free family event fills the ocean skies with hundreds of colorful, handcrafted kites from international and local master kite flyers.
