GlobalFest which is a not-for-profit society, organizes every year varies culture events for Calgary’s residents. One of these events is an International Fireworks Festival. The festival hosts thousands of visitors, locals and guests.

Due to the numerous visitors during the festival days and the high demand for tickets and accommodations it is recommended to check hotel rates and book rooms & tickets well in advance.

The competitive festival usually takes place in summer. It hosts a number of competing countries, where the competitions / fireworks shows are held on various evenings, a unique evening for each country.
