Grafton Jacaranda Festival
The Grafton Jacaranda Festival is Australia’s oldest floral festival, held annually since 1935 in the historic regional city of Grafton, Northern Rivers (NSW). Celebrating the magnificent blooming of hundreds of purple Jacaranda trees that line the city’s avenues, this multi-day festival attracts thousands of domestic and international travelers each spring.
The city becomes awash in vibrant lilac blossoms, creating natural purple canopies across wide streets, historic parks, and along the banks of the Clarence River.

- Peak Bloom Timing: Late October to early November provides the peak purple bloom across Grafton’s streets and parks.
