HaTachana site functioned as the historic station of the train that traveled on the Jerusalem – Jaffa line between 1892 and 1948. After a long period of negligence, the site was renovated and turned to a culture, entertainment and shopping center.
The site which is located near Neveh Zedek neighborhood and the sea includes about 22 restored old buildings that were used in the old station.
On the site the visitors can enjoy various exhibitions and culture activities, galleries, coffee houses, restaurants, pubs, designers’ shops, etc…
