Once a year, Vancouver which is located in British Columbia region, holds Honda Celebration of Lights Festival. The international competitive celebration is held since 1990.

Four competitions are held, where in every evening another country demonstrates its capabilities (see the competitions dates above & additional information in the festival website). Due to the numerous visitors during the festival days and the high demand for accommodations it is recommended to check hotel rates and book rooms well in advance.

All the competitions combine pyro-musical fireworks. World leading pyrotechnics producers arrive to take part in this prestigious event. The colorful festival is held in English Bay.

It attracts thousands audience that come to watch the design, techniques and the innovation that is exhibits by the fireworks producers.

Canada background and overview
