Icon – Science Fiction and Fantasy Festival is held every year in Sukkoth (September/October various dates). It is aimed for lovers of science fiction and fantasy in literature, comics, television and movies.
The three days of the festival include original productions, legend beer site, funny games with the participation of the audience, science and academic lectures, exciting lectures and reading club.
In addition, the festival holds great variety of activities as: writing workshops, screening movies and series, activities on subjects as Tolkin, Harry Potter, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, comics, Anima, fair, shirt competition and various surprises.
The festival is produced by the Israeli association of science fiction and fantasy with the help of the Israeli Tolkin association and more. The festival provides accommodation for guests at “Ironi A.” school near by.
