The lumberman festival of Kapuskasing is known as one of the beautiful folklore culture events in Canada.

The festival’s events which are held, yearly, in end July attract in its three days, thousands of enthusiastic people.

This is an enjoyable meeting for the whole family.

The festival demonstrates the local lumbermen’s tradition. Wood cutting contests are held for professionals and for amateurs. In the evening the visitors can enjoy music shows.
