Kentucky Derby

Kentucky Derby is known also by the name “Run for the Roses”. It is held every year in Louisville, Kentucky.

In the old race that started on 1875 participate Thoroughbred horses (a unique breed of racehorses).
The race is the climax and the most important event in the two week of the “Kentucky Derby Festival”.

The event attracts thousands of spectators as it is known to be the greatest in North America.
